This intake adapter will fit 2017 and 2018 Subaru FB25 2.5 liter cylinder heads (rectangular intake ports) and allow you to install 2011-2016 intake manifolds (round-oval intake ports). This completely eliminates the need to modify the Tumble Generator Valve (TGV) system and maintains original functionality when installing a 2017-2018 FB25 engine into a 2011-2016 Subaru Forester, Legacy, or Outback. Upgrade your FB25 and get rid of that oil consumption issue with an engine that is far less expensive than the 2011-2016 models and enjoy the lower price 2017-2018 engines.
